Graduate Opportunity – Sales Engineer

£18,000 – £22,000. Graduate Opportunity – Sales Engineer. Opportunity for an engineering or technical graduate (electronics / electrical preferably) with strong commercial awareness to join small, professional UK Sales Office of a multinational engineering company. This role will involve direct client contact to increase the existing metrology products maintenance and service side of the business. You will also provide help desk and technical support to the clients.

The role will involve:
• Working closely with Senior Managers and the existing Sales Team, you will take full responsibility for developing product servicing and repairs side of the business.
• Using existing CRM client database you will increase client knowledge of metrology, maintenance and repair services of the company.
• Support the Sales Team with existing product and services specifications, quotation generations, and product demonstrations.
• Coordinate warranty, service and maintenance requests with the factory.

This role will suit:
• Degree or equivalent in relevant technical field – electrical / electronic preferably, but we would also consider other engineering qualifications. The emphasis is on personality and team fit.
• Outgoing and proactive personality coupled with excellent communication skills.
• Excellent commercial awareness.
• Desirable but not essential – good technical understanding of metrology, calibration, measurement systems or applications.

This centrally located position is commutable from Leicester, Nuneaton, Hinckley, Lutterworth, Swadlincote, Enderby, Blaby, Coalville, Ibstock, Markfield, Wigston, Groby, Atherstone, Meesham & Ashby-de-la-Zouch and surrounding areas.
