· Permanent staff position

· Shrewsbury

· Rotating shift pattern: 4.30am–1pm & 1pm–9pm

· £48,000 per annum

An experienced Production Manager / Operations Manager with a background in food production is wanted by an expanding independent manufacturer.

You’ll be joining them at an exciting stage of their growth, and you’ll play a key role in the future of the business.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

· Leadership experience within a food production/manufacturing or FMCG environment is a must

· Excellent people management skills – the team will be looking to you for guidance, development and support

· A record of delivering change & improvement across operations would be beneficial

· You will be capable of, and ultimately WANT to, grow with the business and take on new & exciting challenges as your career progresses.

· A positive energetic outlook to match the rest of the team

What You’ll Be Doing

· Leading the skilled production team to deliver safety, quality, plan and minimise waste.

· Manage staffing rotas and holiday cover

· Review headcount & staffing structures against business needs with the rest of the senior leadership team

· Training and developing your team

· Participate regularly in quality related initiatives.

· Uphold the standards of GMP

· Promote a continuous improvement culture
