Qualified Social Worker – Children in Need

We have a wonderful new vacancy for a Qualified Social Worker to work within a Children in Need Team in South West London

DUTIES

To build a professional relationship with children and their families and to use that relationship to safeguard children and promote positive outcomes

To ensure that staff within the social work unit work purposefully with other agencies to promote positive outcomes for children and their families

To provide a clear and accurate assessment of a child and his/her family’s needs in line with statutory guidance

To be fully accountable for all work undertaken for children allocated to the social work unit

To provide focused and purposeful social work interventions with explicit aims and objectives about desired outcomes within the context of managing risk to children

REQUIREMENTS

Must have minimum 2 years experience working within Children In Need

Must be HCPC Registered

Relevant Social Work Qualification, i.e. Dip SW, etc
