Marketing & Communications Officer

Salary: £26,000 per year

Our client is a successful training provider within the education sector. They are at the next stage of an ambitious growth plan and are now seeking a creative individual to raise their profile further on all media platforms.

You will take the lead in compiling and co-ordinating communications with the training delivery partners. This will include producing and managing production of targeted content for external and internal audiences, including engaging written work online. You will contribute to the management and development of a variety of communications channels, including social media and the company website and the promotion of seminars and conferences.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and deliver impactful, audience-focused communications for internal and external stakeholders

* Lead on the development, monitoring and management of communication channels, including web and social media content

* Monitoring the performance and effectiveness of communications projects and materials, by gathering and analysing audience engagement through analytics and qualitative means

* Produce social media content and other materials including web content.

Specific Qualifications and Experience

* 3 A Levels, NVQ 3, HND or diploma (or equivalent experience)

* Confident using IT platforms relevant to the role, such as social media management systems and email marketing software

* Experience relevant to the responsibilities in communications

The successful candidate will be a self starter and be proactive. You will initially be home working with a view that the role will be divided between home and the office in Sittingbourne, when COVID lockdown measures are lifted. The hours of work are 8.30am – 4.30pm term time only.
