Head of Financial Control – Hampshire (Hybrid working)
Clarum Recruitment Group are partnering with a client who are experiencing a period of significant growth and as a result, are recruiting for a Head of Financial Control to join them on their journey to help them achieve their ambitious goals.
It’s a really exciting time to be joining the team, and this role will require your expertise to help deliver the company’s financial reporting and control agenda.
Reporting in to the Group Financial Controller, this role will encompass a number of internal and external reporting responsibilities that require strong technical capabilities. You will be collaborating with all levels of the business, so strong commercial acumen is equally important.
The Head of Financial Control will take ownership of the preparation of Statutory Accounts and completion of Statutory Reporting, manage the year end audit activities, support, monitor and identify risks. Your role will manage a small team and support the business in growth activities.
About you
Candidates being short listed for this role will hold an ACA/ACCA qualification with a strong technical accounting/control background. You will demonstrate strong knowledge of IFRS/FRS accounting standards and comfortable using systems to implement process improvements. Previous experience auditing listed businesses who be highly advantageous.
