Production Operative

Salary: £26,000 – £36,991.5 per year

PRODUCTION OPERATIVE

CHESTER AREA

TEMPORARY – 3 MONTHS

FULL TIME HOURS

2 WEEK ROTATING SHIFTS 6AM – 6PM – WILL INCLUDE WEEKENDS

£29K INCLUDING SHIFT ALLOWANCE

THE ROLE

* Ensuring that Health and Safety Standards are upheld, including the wearing of PPE and hazards are identified and minimised

* Maintaining the work area according to 5S principles in a clean, safe and organised way

* Completing all paperwork required for all orders and ensuring that this is passed to the relevant department

* Recording data for processing or KPI results

* Working to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

* Packing and rotation of stock

* Actioning all deliveries both inbound and outbound

* Container loading

* Picking and loading/unloading

* Scanning and sorting of returns

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

* Previous packaging and production experience

* A Counterbalance FLT licence would be advantageous but is not essential

* A good level of IT skills with the ability to use PCs and associated software

* Must have initiative and be self-motivated

* Due to the demands within the wider business there will be requirements to work outside of normal working hours when required.
