The Cartgate Lodge Café, based off the A303, near Yeovil is a totally rebuilt café and picnic area serving home cooked food, fresh coffee and service with a smile! Television, Free Wi Fi, Takeway, Ice creams and much more! We are the perfect place for Truck Drivers and families to stretch their legs and take a breather.

The Opportunity
We are now looking to recruit a Catering Assistant to join us near Yeovil. As Catering Assistant, you will be joining a busy and cheerful team of 6. Your duties will include the following:

– Communicating with customers face to face
– Operating the till and taking food orders
– Serving food
– Washing up, cleaning and restocking

The Candidate
To be considered for our Catering Assistant position, our ideal candidate will have/ be the following:

– Level 2 Food and Safety Certification is required, however, training will be given
– Driving licence is required and your own transportation as we are based off the A303
– Smart appearance
– Excellent communication skills
– Cheerful disposition
