Senior Medical Advisor

Salary: £186 per hour

* 6-12 Month Contract
* Salary – £186per Hour (£1162.50 per hour)
* Location – GSK Middlesex -TW8 9GS
* Hours 37.5hrs PW Monday – Friday
* Remote working but maybe required to visit the office once Covid restriction ease
Medical Advisor aligned to COVID Therapeutics in the UK Specialty Medical Team
GSK are looking for an experienced final medical signatory to join the UK COVID Therapeutics Medical Team. As a Medical Advisor aligned to two investigational monoclonal antibodies for treating COVID-19, you will be responsible for supporting the COVID Therapeutics Medical Lead in delivering the UK Medical Affairs plan. This will include the organisation and medical support to advisory boards, scientific meetings and webinars. Review and approval of materials.
Medical Affairs Signatory Role:
* Responsible for the day-to-day management and completion of agreed deliverables on time and within the agreed scope. Monitors, controls and reports on project progress on a regular basis and when exceptional circumstances arise.
* Responsible for supporting the COVID Therapeutics Medical Lead in delivering the UK Medical Affairs plan.
* Organisation and medical support to advisory boards, scientific meetings and webinars.
Experience & Qualifications Required
* A GMC registered medical doctor or GPhC registered pharmacist
* ABPI code final signatory status
* Disease area expertise desirable but not essential (nephrology, oncology, rheumatology, immunology)
* Continuous record of career achievement through appropriate career positions •
* Previous industry experience as Final Signatory
* Extensive final Medical signatory copy approval knowledge/experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Minimum of 3 years’ experience.
* Therapy knowledge in one or more of the following therapeutic areas: Respiratory, Vaccines, Metabolic, Central Nervous System/Anaesthesia.
