Sales Coordinator Part Time

Salary: £26,000 – £27,600 per year

A well-established manufacturing company based in St Ives, Cambridge, operating worldwide, is seeking a part-time Sales Coordinator in addition to their successful team. You will provide efficient service to customer’s both internally and externally, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement across the department.

You will possess a minimum of 2 GCSE’s or similar equivalent experience/calibre with an excellent eye for detail, exposure working in a customer service/facing role and supporting team members with the ability to work on own tasks and independently to deadlines. Good communication skills via telephone and face to face proactively managing projects with good IT skills that include MS Excel and Word.

Key responsibilities include:

Customer Service – External:

* Respond to customer enquiries via phone/emails

* Communicate enquiries to sales and engineering team using the CRM system

* Provide quotes for customers based on customer requirements from the sales/engineer teams

* Send order acknowledgements and keep customers updated on progress

Customer Service – Internal:

* Communicate with production to progress customer’s orders

* Work with various departments to ensure customer cases are managed to external customer’s expectations

* Assist with planned marketing or promotional events when required

* Attending marketing meetings and offer feedback when invited

* Join one of the intercompany improvement groups to actively contribute to the group’s objectives

Sales Administration:

* Data entry, entering new quotes and orders on the ERP database system, processing sales orders

* Documentation checking, ensuring all documentation is clearly defined and responding to queries raised by customers and finance/shipping prior to order acknowledgment

* Support and progress customer cases for warranties, returns or complaints

* Understand customer expectations and liaise with departments involved in providing resolutions

* Check Marketing Automation (AI) website weekly and reassign leads to sales engineers or directly
