Laboratory Technician
Hours: Full Time
Salary: £26,000 – £30,000per year
Location: Maidstone
Job Summary:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Laboratory Technician for one of our established clients
Main Duties:
Experience of using Molecular Biology Techniques
PCR,
Electrophoresis,
DNA Isolation,
Fluorescence etc.
Role will be split but still Lab orientated for
Research and Development,
Production and
QC.
Key Skills and Requirements:
Will also need to offer technical support to customers by telephone and email using publication searches etc
Will be asked from time to time to assist in moving and assessing product stock.
Minimum of degree in Life Science
Most importantly have worked in a Molecular Biology Laboratory
While mainly lab orientated the role will require interfacing with Customers, suppliers and Distributors.
Will need proficiency in computing to a minimum of Word, Excel, Power Point and use of Photoshop or equivalent.
Local person that does not need to relocate.
