Senior Finance Business Partner

Hybrid Role – Northwich

My client is looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner for a hybrid role that they have. They are looking for someone with the ability to become an integral support in their finance department. You will support multiple stakeholders along with the Finance and operations Directors. You will help them drive new developments and delivery of financial strategy, performance analytics and planning of their financial performance; as well you will support with strategy and management of their cost base, projects and programmes. There will be opportunity to have responsibility for modelling for business cases and investments.

This is a hybrid role so predominantly you will be working remotely and coming into the office maybe one day a week

What will you be doing?

* Supporting and partnering with the Businesses to raise standards in key decision areas, taking a forward looking and commercial view to articulate different options and influence decisions.

* Partnering with business stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of their business and drivers in order to drive business decisions, ensuring alignment with the Technology Strategy

* Leading the delivery of the financial strategy through sound financial solutions, planning and advice, thus ensuring that all functions deliver at or better than their strategy and plan

* Continuously improve relevant business processes/practices, working alongside peers to implement and maintain high performance and constant drive for excellence

* Proactively investigate and develop GTIS specific strategic models working across F&BM peers to support FD requirements across a wide range of finance related topics.

* Provide professional financial commentary on performance and present reports to the FD and senior leadership teams, driving corrective action and performance improvement opportunities

* Developing a deep understanding of the financials and proactively communicate to all relevant stakeholders at all levels

* Together with business leads, develop analytical predictive models for cost management and capacity optimisation where appropriate

What we’re looking for:

* Ability to operationalise a variety of top-down requests through the Finance and Business Management team and other Finance COEs

* Ability to express views, interpret and translate financial language to a variety of business areas, including non-finance.

Skills you need in the role:

* Professional accountancy qualification or equivalent relevant experience (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)

* The ability to work under pressure and meet Strick deadlines

* Commercial Acumen

* Communication and influencing skills

* Previous experience of working within the payments, retail, utilities or telecoms sector.
