Salary
£40,000 – £55,000 (depending on experience) + car/car allowance + company contribution pension scheme + health care

Role Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a major engineering and rail infrastructure contractor, who are currently working on a prestigious railway project in the South East, carrying out modifications and station upgrades. The successful candidate’s duties will include:

* Input & maintenance of contract cost reporting and commercial management of the project.
* Interfacing between supply chain & other disciplines to enable timely input of cost information to produce reports as required.
* Monitor labour, plant & other cost allocations, report cost deviations to budget.
* Change management on specific contract packages.
* Input into the production of cost to complete & periodic cost forecasting.
* Management of large subcontractor accounts.
* Administration of contracts – assessing risk and opportunity.
* Attend client meetings with regards to the projects commercial performance.

Required Experience
The candidate must have experience working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in a rail environment with a working knowledge of various standard forms of contract, including ICE and NR suites of contract. You must be degree qualified and either chartered or working towards becoming chartered to be considered for this position.
