Private Tutor/Governess
We are looking for a well-educated, well-mannered and engaging tutor for 3 boys for a Warwick based family. You will be supporting their studies after school daily and during 10 weeks of the holidays (excluding Christmas).
The parents of this family are generous and thoughtful. Both lead a very busy life style, so they are expecting the tutor to show initiative and lead in their teaching.
The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background and have solid experience in working with children of this age group. Experience teaching music would also be an advantage as the boys are currently studying piano, clarinet and cello. You will also be flexible and adaptive to the challenges that arise when motivating boys of these ages to study. Playful character with a positive outlook on life will have a strong advantage over others.
You will have a clean driving licence and be happy to conduct light housekeeping duties such as preparing meals for the boys.
KEY POINTS
Hours of work: Term time 2pm to 7pm (Mon to Fri)
10 weeks holiday cover 8.30am to 6pm (Mon to Fri)
Salary: £26,000per year
Expenses: All paid by the client
Holiday: 6 weeks paid
Children’s age: 4, 8, 10
Enhanced DBS Check or Enhanced Certificate of Disclosure from the CRB is required
