Service and Commissioning Engineer

Salary: £42,000 – £48,000 per year

My client is looking for an experienced Service And Commissioning Engineer to join their business based in the UK to service their client base across UK and Ireland. The role is offered as permanent and full-time position with scope to progress within the business as the company continues to do so with success. My client specialises in manufacturing automated packaging machinery to include palletisers, sealers, wrapping strapping and labelling products and turn key systems. The ideal candidate will have previous electrical and mechanical experience with similar equipment as well as PLC fault find knowledge.

Service & Commissioning Engineer role:
Should you be sucessful you will report to the Operations and Engineering Manager and be responsible for travelling to customer sites throughout UK and Ireland to provide service, breakdown, maintenance, installation and commissioing on a wide range of packaging machinery.
ork will be varied from basic PLC fault find, using ladder logic, electrical or mechanical breakdowns, to installation, intergration and commissiong of small sub systems to completet turnkey systems.
There is scope to travel abroad occasionally.
Training will provided.

Service & Commissioning Engineer requirement:
Educated to ONC, HND, HNC or equivalent in a relevant electrical discipline
Electrical and mechanical service and maintennce backgorund
PLC fault find with at least one – Allen Bradley, Rockwell, Mitsubishi, Siemens or Omron.
Proven Service and Commissioning experience with similar automated packaging machinery.
UK driving license
Flexibility with travelling UK and Ireland

£35k – £40k + overtime
