Position: Financial Controller / Chief Financial Officer
Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire
Salary: Up to £60,000 with very competitive bonus scheme

Leading the Finance team and ultimately taking responsibility for other departments as the role develops, you will be responsible (amongst other things) for:

a) Participation in the development and implementation of commercial and strategic plans for the Company
b) Preparation of monthly accounts within Group deadlines
c) Co-ordinating the input to (and then preparing) the Annual Budget and cash flow forecasts within Group deadlines
d) Co-ordinating and preparing twice annual re-forecasts for Group reporting
e) Liaising with auditors ensuring audits runs smoothly
f) Treasury management including cash flow management, control over accounts payables and receivables and relationship with Bankers
g) Preparation of quarterly VAT returns, monthly Intrastat submissions and other such Government reporting
h) Overseeing in house payroll function and relationship with HMRC

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND CHARACTERISTICS

a) At least 2 years post qualification / practice experience within a commercially-driven environment
b) A dynamic personality clearly evidenced by high levels of passion and of motivation
c) The ability to influence decisions and generate creative solutions to solve problems
d) Confidence in liaising with senior stakeholders
e) An ability to problem solve and have a results orientated approach
f) Being capable of motivating and influencing others to achieve results
g) Strong commercial analytical experience
