Association of people with disability – Shrathanjali Integrated school (currently working from oct 2021) – Bengaluru, Karnataka.
• Working in client and community centred practice
• Planned and carried out individually designed OT treatment programs for 201 Children with special needs(including learning disability, autism, ADHD, intellectual disability, cerebral palsy, locomotor disability, multiple disability) and 172 adult clients to maintain, improve or restore function to all ADL and IADL.
• Monitored the patient’s vital signs and physiological response to OT treatment sessions and communicated the findings to other team members (physiotherapist, speech therapist, social worker, psychologist, and Assistant therapist)
• Monitored, evaluated and documented the effects of treatment at different stages to adjust treatments and achieve maximum benefit.
• Guiding RCI certified assistant therapist in terms of OT

• Prepared and conducted, specialized OT treatment plans (capacity building & sensitisation) to 500+ beneficiaries including children and adult

• Conducted capacity building and sensitization program about the treatment protocols used in OT for 30 Occupational Therapist Assistants and 130 parents and caretakers
• Time reporting about the patient status and departmental functions to the reporting manager
• Implemented plans of care in a supportive manner. Interacted with patients about the condition, progress, and achievement of goals during each treatment session.
• Evaluated patients as per the final diagnosis of doctor and developed individual plans of care (incl. short- and long-term goals to help rehabilitate patients).
• Utilized safety and emergency techniques whenever a need arose, including stabilizing equipment, and requesting assistance
• Developed and carried out individual plans of care for 40+ adult patients aged 18-65 and children about 300 aged 3 to 15 in community and client-based set-up
• Started an online & offline group therapy session for school beneficiaries during holidays to have the continuity in therapies.
