Salary: £30,000 – £42,000 per year
Graduate with strong maths, statistics & IT
Graduate for highly respected firm for who provide specialist software development & engineering services related to systems modelling, optimisation, risk analysis and asset management & modelling. With strong Mathematics, physics, statistical background they will look to employ and train up a bright degree graduate.
Requirements
The candidate must have all of the following:
strong mathematical, data analysis and problem solving skills
a good quality degree in mathematics or a numerate science or engineering discipline
experience or aptitude with software tools for use in data analysis or modelling (e.g. Excel, Access, VBA (and VBA macros), VB and SQL)
ability to work independently and as part of a team.One of the following would be desirable:
a working knowledge of statistics
experience of systems modelling, risk analysis, optimisation or simulation
ability to work closely with clients at a technical and management level.Fantastic opportunity to work in an intellectual, stimulating and rewarding non-corporate company environment. Atmosphere is relaxed but will require a bit of hard work on the grey matter!
