Bricklayer-Supervisor

Salary: £28.2 – £28.8 per hour

We are now looking to expand our team to deliver even more projects to our customers around the Greater Manchester area. Guardian Developments is looking for a bricklayer/supervisor to lead our already successful team.

What are we look for

• Experience in construction industry EG: Wall removals/setting the pad stones/ block/brick up any openings and wall above the steels

• Experience in a leadership role recommended

• The ability to set priorities and exercise flexibility where necessary

• Ability to read and understand drawings and plans to comply with building regulations

• Good communication skills and the ability to deal with clients, subcontractors and the internal team

• Ability to focus and keep calm under pressure

• Full UK driving licence essential

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Working Supervisor – undertaking supervisory duties whilst working alongside current employees

• Overseeing, coordinating and the planning of the daily work schedule

• Support the business with any other ad hoc duties as and when required

• Allocating resources and materials. Coordinate delivery/pick up of materials as required

• Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations

• Read, understand, convey and build to only approved drawings and specifications

• Management reporting
