Catering Assistant / After-School Cook

URGENT REQUIREMENT – CATERING ASSISTANT/AFTER-SCHOOL COOK
We are urgently seeking a General Catering Assistant who is also a basic cook. This is a 30-hour per week role (term time only) – 12 noon until 6pm – within a delightful prep school in Woking.
Duties will include assisting at lunchtime with service and assisting with clean-down. You will be required to do prep for the chef manager.
You will carry out general cleaning of kitchen and do the basic cooking for after-school club for approximately 40 pupils. You will be responsible for the food safety of this after-school club.
Applicants must be prepared to work alone at the after-school club.
You must have excellent communication skills.
Rate of pay is £26,000per year.
Due to the nature of the position of Catering Assistant/After-School Cook the company will apply for a DBS on your behalf, so a clean history is vital.
