At Ocado you will be part of our team of ‘Personal Shoppers’ who receive, pack and load our customers’ orders using highly advanced technical systems that enable Ocado to be an award-winning service. It’s a varied and rewarding job where you get to think on your feet and have a variety of different roles and shifts available.
Work areas

Pick Night Shifts: 21:15 – 05:15 – 5 nights or 20:15 – 06:15 – 4 nights or 19:45-05:45 – 4 nights.
Frameload and Despatch: 07:15 – 17:15 or 21:30 – 07:30, 4 nights.
Freezer Pick: 05:30 – 13:30, 5 days or 19:45 – 05:45, 4 days.

All areas (except the freezer) have both ambient and chill (0 – 5degC) sections and you will be expected to work in both.

All roles may involve handling meat and alcohol.

This comprises of a 38 hour week. 2 hours worth of breaks within your weeks shifts are unpaid.

Your working days will be across the 7 days, Friday and Saturday are our peak days so you will work a large proportion of these.
-You will be required to work overtime according to operational needs. This is not a regular occurrence.
-Salary: s
-Basic rate £26,000 per year
-Unsocial £1.60 (between 22:00 and 06:00)

(payable every Friday into your bank account 2 weeks in arrears)

Please note that there is a reduced training rate for the first 2 weeks
