A well established steel frame contractor are currently searching for a project quantity surveyor to work on site in the Exmouth area. Projects include design & build steel frame sheds for; automotive, industrial sectors as well as new build; commercial, educational projects.

As the Quantity Surveyor you manage all commercial aspects of the project in a site based capacity.

If you have worked for a main contractor with general build experience as a Quantity Surveyor then I want to talk with you.

Responsibilities:

* Negotiation with subcontractors

* Management and administration of sub-contractor accounts

* Measurement, pricing and valuation of post contract variations

* Cost management

* CVR reporting and forecasting

* Supply chain procurement

* Agreement of Final Accounts

* Travel is a necessity

We are specifically looking for locally based candidates who have worked on site and are looking to work for a respected contractor. The ideal candidate must have site-based experience with large main contractors as well as previous experience of assisting with the commercial management of sub-contractors on site. Candidates will display a steady work history and a professional level of education I.E. HNC/ ONC construction or BSC/ MSC level and will be able to work both as part of a team and independently at various stages of the project.
