Family Outreach Worker

Autism West Midlands is recruiting for a Family Outreach Worker to join our family services team here at our head Office in Birmingham.

The Family Outreach Worker will work with a caseload of families who have a child with autism, delivering a variety of support to the families. They will facilitate groups, activity sessions and deliver training to parents, children and siblings. The will also prepare any materials or resources needed for sessions. Additionally, the post holder will meet with their line manager on a monthly basis for supervisions, and to talk through any plans for the month.

This role will be covering Birmingham/Solihull.

Interviews will take place on 30th November

The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of Autism and a clear understanding of the needs of children on the autistic spectrum and of the issues which impact on families and people affected by autism
