Part-Time EYFS Teaching Assistant
Education World are currently recruting a teaching assistant to work in a primary school in Washington, this would be to work in a whole reception class and to take group sessions. The school is at the heart of the community where both children and staff feel valued and nurtured.
You will be responsible for working with small groups of children as well as working with full groups.You will need to build a relationship with the children in order to understand their needs fully. You will be supported by the reception teachers, working closely to ensure development. You will be required to take interactive intervention sessions, supporting and implementing the National Curriculum. This is a part time ob working 8:30-12:30 from Monday to Friday.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will have school based experience in a Teaching Assistant job or placement. You must be passionate and confident about supporting children and have a desire to impact their learning and development. An empathetic approach is required. You must be able to deal with complex needs in a confident manner.
