Senior Finance Assistant (Part Time)

Salary: £36,000 – £48,000 per year

This well-established international organisation are looking for a part time Senior Finance Assistant to join their team. You will be working between 24-30 hours a week and can work these hours across the week or in 3 full days. This role is office based in central Guildford and is walking distance from Guildford train station however doesn’t have onsite parking.

Senior Finance Assistant (Part time) – About The Role

In this role you will be assisting the Finance Manager with the day to day running of the finance department. You will be overseeing a small accounts team and will be working in a high volume, fast paced environment. Your key responsibilities will be:

* Assisting with the preparation of the monthly management accounts.

* Delivering month end reports and international VAT compliance.

* Assisting the finance manager with cashflow forecasting and the annual budget process.

* Developing and improving the management accounts pack and other internal procedures.

* Handling daily cashing-up procedures, bank reconciliations and other transactional responsibilities.

* Responsible for overseeing a small credit control function.

* Covering the accounts payable function and any other ad hoc duties.

The successful Senior Finance Assistant (Part time) will have:

* Previous experience in a senior finance position.

* Experience with handling the month end process.

* AAT/ACCA/CIMA qualified or QBE candidates will be considered.

* Ability to communicate at all levels.
