Electrical Design Engineer – South London – 3-6 months

An excellent opportunity has become available for an Electrical Design Engineer to join an excellent forward thinking building services company on a contract basis.

The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for
– Power calculations and cable sizing
– Discrimination calculations
– Distribution boards schedules, small power distribution and cable layout
– Lighting design and layout
– Fire alarm system design
– Lead the coordination of the ceiling elements (lights, grilles, detectors etc.)
– Drafting drawings for tender and coordination with architectural/structural/electrical engineers
– Write up electrical specification (Knowledge of NBS would be an advantage)
