Salary: £84,000 – £96,000 per year
Infrastructure Manager
Infrastructure Manager required by a leading SaaS company based in Reading. The company are rapidly expanding, and the Infrastructure Manager will drive, innovate and modernise their IT estate.
The company are currently modernising and automating a lot of their infrastructure and device management, and therefore the successful candidate should have strong technical skills to maintain and improve these systems.
The successful Infrastructure Manager will be able to be remote based with travel to the office very occasionally.
Key responsibilities:
- Build and maintain a resilient, modern, and sustainable IT estate
- Responsible for the IT strategy, budget, forecasting and capacity planning
- Ensure applications meet business needs, procure and migrate when required
- Maintain in depth knowledge of various software applications used by the business
- Collaborate with the Cloud Team to align strategies
- Accountable for one or more direct reports
Required skills:
- Experience in a similar lead/manager role in a software/SaaS company
- Virtualisation, networking and storage
- DevOps, CI/CD automation and Infrastructure-as-code principles and tooling
- People management
Nice to have skills:
- AWS/Cloud certification
- Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform and related IaC deployment
- Mobile device management
- ISO 27001/27002
