Health Care Assistant / Support Worker

Salary: £26,000 – £38,610 per year

Staff Partners are currently looking for Health Care Assistants and Support Workers, with a passion for delivering outstanding care.

We are currently working with a private hospital who are an 8 bed specialist residential service for adults with autism and who may present with behaviours that challenge. My client aims to provide a safe, comfortable and effective care environment for those in their care, promoting independence and community integration.

I have been informed the role could be a minimum of 2 moths for the right candidate. Alternatively we can offer as many adhoc shift as you would like.

Main Duties:

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all residents
• Work in the residential area, providing guidance and encouragement to residents through physical and emotional support
• Maintain a safe, clean and enjoyable environment for residents to live in, which will involve undertaking some domestic duties and complying with policies and procedures.
• Assist residents with their medical and welfare needs and report as required
• Safeguard residents
• Learn about individuals’ specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way
• Follow and learn specific behavioural support techniques
• Work alongside multi-disciplinary professionals such a psychology, psychiatry and occupational therapy
