Lift Service Engineer

Salary: £18 per hour

We are currently working with an established independent nationwide business who specialise in the supply and installation of a variety of new lifts, modernisation of existing lift equipment, 24/7 call out and repair services and complete lift maintenance solutions. They are actively seeking a fully qualified Lift Service Engineer to hold geographical responsibility for a service route within Sheffield, South Yorkshire. 

The role will involve;

• Covering an assigned service route in Sheffield City Centre and a few units Barnsley.
• Responsibility for a large, prestigious site within the City Centre. 
• Driving to customers’ sites utilising the company van. 
• Carrying out routine maintenance, inspection and routine servicing of lift equipment from various manufacturers.
• Taking part in the company’s callout rota on a 1 day in 10 basis, attending to breakdowns and trapped passengers

The ideal candidate for this role will fulfil the following criteria;

• An NVQ 3 Engineering Maintenance (Lift Servicing). 
• A full UK Driving License. 
• Previous experience in a similar role, carrying out routine maintenance, inspection and routine servicing of lift equipment from various manufacturers.

The position offers the following benefits and remuneration package; 

• A basic hourly rate of up to £18per hour.
• Door to door pay, paid at enhanced rates. 
• 25 days’ annual leave, plus Bank Holidays.
