Civils Site Engineer

Salary: £42,000 – £48,000 per year

I am working with a leading civil engineering & building company who are looking for a Civil Site Engineer to be based across their sites in Worcestershire.

The role will involve working on major water/waste infrastructure framework projects across the Worcestershire area.

You will play a key role within the team through project management, subcontractor management and client engagement. There will also be various opportunities to develop within the framework team, as jobs are acquired.

Job will involve but will not be limited to:

• Developing effective relationships and dealing with clients and subcontractors.
• Working closely with the Site Manager to ensure that the Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety aspects of the work are adhered to during your project phase on site.
• Continually developing your knowledge in the industry, communicating and implementing best practice guidance to line managers and relevant staff.
• Maintain Integrated Management System (IMS) requirements, procedures and policies.
• Reading, interpretation and providing clear communication of construction drawings on site for layouts, material measurements etc.
• Ensuring that the setting out is accurate, providing precise lines, levels and reference points on site.
• Effectively influencing the progress on sites and ensuring programme deadlines are met.
• Ensuring the requirements as specified by client and senior management are met

We are looking for candidates with either a degree within civil engineering or another industry related qualification with a minimum of 2-3 years experience within civil engineering.

Experience within the water or utilities sector would be a distinct advantage, but is not essential.

A full drivers license is required, along with relevant site cards and accreditations.

In return my client is offering a starting salary between £42,000 – £48,000 + Company Van, fuel allowance, mobile phone and life assurance.
