Accountancy Tutor

Salary: £54,000 per year

As an Accountancy Tutor, you will be rewarded with a basic salary of up to £54,000Contributory pension scheme, expenses, and employee equity stakes.

As a Financial Coach / mentor you will be working for a fast-growing accountancy training provider, supporting learners to complete AAT, CIMA and various Accountancy Qualifications up to level 5. Alongside this as a successful Accountancy Tutor you will providing soft skills such as teamwork, communication, problem solving and project management to a variety of learners in the South and West Yorkshire area.

Duties and responsibilities to include:

• Teaching students in the classroom on a weekly basis both days and evenings if required.
• Supporting students and their managers on a regular basis via telephone and face to face to review their progress on the Accountancy programme and agreeing targets and actions to ensure apprentices remain on track to achieving a timely completion.
• Provision of coaching and guidance on how to identify further opportunities for development of the skills and behaviours required to prepare them for their finance exams.
• Supporting induction and skills development students by delivering presentations and facilitating skills sessions.

Relevant Qualification Required:

• A relevant Finance qualification at level 5 or above
• Teaching qualifications CTLLS / DTLLS /CERT ED / PGCE
• Experience of classroom teaching
