Supply Chain Coordinator

Salary: £36,000 – £42,000 per year

Porter Lancastrian Ltd is a leading manufacturer of drinks dispense products has now identified the need for a Supply Chain Coordinator. Working for the Operations Manager, the Supply Chain Coordinator role involves overseeing the management of suppliers, working closely with Design & Engineering, Production, Print & Warehouse. This full-time role will see you in the thick of it on all matters that relate to the purchasing process within the business.

Requirements

* Issuing purchase orders to suppliers along with drawings and other documentation when required.

* Manage outstanding purchase orders with suppliers

* Working with our over sea’s suppliers in ordering, pricing and problem-solving.

* Supporting Design & Engineering’s product development projects to meet cost targets, mitigate risk, support the supplier quotation process and part availability for launch

* Managing Sourcing Strategy of our supplier portfolio to deliver cost savings to the business

* Develop existing and new suppliers’ relationships

* Organise goods coming into the country with our over sea’s suppliers.

* Support goods out in sending product overseas

* Evaluate supplier performance

* excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential

Ideally Qualified to Degree and/or CIPS level 4 or equivalent you should have solid experience as a Supply Chain Coordinator where you have had exposure to procurement activities for product design projects in a manufacturing business. You should also be experienced in working with an ERP/MRP system and ideally have drinks dispense equipment knowledge.
