JOB TITLE: Business Development Manager – Renewable Technology Distributor LOCATION: To cover Scotland
SALARY: Basic to £42,000+ Audi A6 + Bonus + Fringe Benefits SUMMARY: Taylor Steele Associates have the pleasure of bringing to the job market a field sales position with our client a leading renewable technology distributor.
The Business Development Manager will join our client with the objective of keeping the company at the forefront of this exciting industry. The individual will develop sales for the company around Scotland supporting the installer network.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
A proven track record in business to business sales.
At least 3 years’ experience selling renewable technology at a technical level.
Proven ability to drive and develop markets and new business alongside maintaining established customers.
Ability to understand territory and cultivate initiatives that will continue to develop the sales pipeline.
A professional approach to hitting tough revenue targets
Proactive, tenacious attitude.
Exceptional communication skills and the confidence to present to board level
A solid understanding of the renewable industry
Sound knowledge of air source heat pumps, solar thermal technology, solar PV technology and under floor heating.
The proven ability to specify on a range of renewable technologies.
Ability to manage multiple projects from conception through completion.
ROLE INFORMATION:
The main responsibilities in the Sales Manager role will be to;
Develop sales from existing and new corporate accounts
Spot new potential business opportunities and close deals successfully
Hit tough revenue targets and KPIs
Keep up-to-date with regulatory factors within the industry
To deliver companies expectations in line with budget and target
