Early Years Teaching Assistant Required Immediately – Long Term

We are currently recruiting teaching assistants for a position in a nursery school in North London. The position is for 52 weeks per year and you will be required to support SEN students on a long term basis and possibly for the academic year. You would be required to work as a TA in a class group but at times working on a 1:1 basis supporting children with complex needs including children who present with challenging behaviour. You must have Cache level 2 or 3 in Early Childhood education

The school is looking for

someone who has had previous experience within an early years setting,
has worked with students with complex needs
can demonstrate good behaviour management
a Teaching Assistant who is very pro-active
someone who can work well within a team.
You must be presentable and professional at all times.
A knowledge of Makaton and PECS would be an advantage though not essential. Salary: £26,000 – £29,640per year (depending on experience)

We will be providing free of charge training in the Approach method for successful applicants.
