Recruitment Consultant

Salary: £30,000 – £42,000 per year

Due to continuous growth, Hanson Lawrie is looking for Recruitment Consultants to join the team based out of our new offices in Barford.

We are looking for consultants to assist our clients in finding the best people to staff their business no matter the job or industry. As such we are looking for consultants with proven experience in developing and creating recruiting strategies, attracting, and sourcing candidates, screening applicants, interviewing, and appropriate matching.

The ability to build relationships is key in this client and candidate-facing role. You will be expected to manage a portfolio of existing clients, however, this is not a sales role and there are no sales targets. The role purely focuses on recruitment.

Responsibilities

• Identifying potential candidates to fulfill clients’ needs whilst fostering long-term relationships for existing clients
• Meeting with clients to understand requirements
• Employ recruiting methods to attract and source candidates (e.g. job advertising, databases, social media, CV searches)
• Evaluate resumes and applications and pre-interview screening
• Match the most suitable candidates to different positions
• Create relationships with job seekers and provide advice
• Facilitate and finalise agreements between candidate and employer

Requirements

• Proven experience as Recruitment Consultant, Resourcer or similar position
• Understanding of sourcing and recruiting techniques
• Outstanding communication ability
• Confident outgoing personality
• Well-organised
• Ability to multitask at work in a fast-paced environment.
