We are currently seeking experience packing operatives for our client who is based in the Garforth area
This roles involves working in a fast pace environment, candidates with previous production line experience or who have worked in a production industry environment would be highly desired.
Duties and responsibilities:
* Usually working in teams of 3, the operative is required to fill packages with various products to the correct quantity, to seal and label them in a manner suitable for sale and to pack them in an appropriate carton or shrink wrapped package prior to palletising them for dispatch to the warehouse.
Additional Information:
* Hours of work are Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern of 0630-1430 1400-2200.
* Night shift 2200-0600 only when required in peak periods.
* Rate of is £26,000 per year with 16% shift allowance for 1400-2200 and 30% shift allowance for 2200-0600 after 12 weeks of work pay increases to £7.01 with 15% shift allowance for 1400-2200 and 30% shift allowance for 2200-0600. Overtime is after 37.5 hours at time and half.
