As the Reliability Testing Leader, you will be responsible for leading our client’s Ongoing Reliability Testing (ORT) programme and ensuring appropriate test coverage for all gas meter product ranges. You’ll also manage all employees responsible for ORT to ensure that the company’s products meet the required standards.

Overseeing the ORT programme, you’ll manage all testing activities, including Highly Accelerated Stress Screening, Accelerated Life Testing, Highly Accelerated Life Testing, Full Life Testing and Design Reliability Assurance.

Ensuring the accurate reporting of test results, you’ll undertake root cause analysis investigations and perform corrective and preventative actions using 8D or DMAIC methodology. Additionally, you’ll help to maintain quality, environmental, health and safety systems, as well as delivering product improvements to improve the efficiency and quality of products.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

– Experience of root cause analysis
– Significant hands-on experience of LSS delivery
– Experience of training and mentoring
– Knowledge of quality testing (QA and/or QC), reliability testing, quality tools and LSS
– At a minimum, an HNC qualification in an Engineering, Scientific or Mathematics discipline with a Mathematics or Statistics A-Level

As the Reliability Testing Leader, you must have excellent communication, organisation and time management skills, as well as a results-focused approach. You must also be committed to challenging the norm and improving the way that products work.
