RGN or RMN

The Clayton Group are currently recruiting for an RGN or RMN. Our clients nursing home offers nursing, residential and rehabilitation for residents with enduring mental health problems and neurological disorders. This home is based in the Preston area and ideally is searching for an experienced Nurse for days. The going rate for this position is between £17.4 – £30 and £25 dependent on experience.

The candidate

candidates will have the ability to organise own workload with regard to assessing resident needs, planning, implementation and evaluation of a programme of care which is evidence based utilising all available resources taking into consideration the lifestyle, gender and cultural background and ensure involvement with the residents, family, carers and significant others.

The role

Assist members of the team in planning, priority setting and decision making. This would include establishing clear, concise achievable and measureable objectives to meet the residents needs.

Act as a role model for the team by representing the values and beliefs of the nursing profession as well as that of the organisation.

Provide encouragement and motivation to members of the nursing team.

Take account of the role, skills and competence of staff when delegating work.

Demonstrate a clear understanding of organisational goals.

Demonstrate a systematic, flexible and innovative approach to problem solving and decision making.

Participate in recruitment and selection process.

Shifts in place currently

Week 1 Monday / Tuesday / Saturday / Sunday

Week 2 Wednesday / Thursday / Friday

Shifts 7am – 7pm – 1.5hrs break. meals provided, contributory pension scheme.
