Remediation / Environmental Technician

We are urgently seeking an Environmental/Remediation technician for a leading ground engineering and brownfield regeneration contractor based in Leeds.

It is anticipated that the successful candidate will have gained experience working for a specialist contractor on domestic and commercial remediation projects. Typical duties will include:

– Monitoring and sampling ground gas and groundwater for various sites
– Maintenance and calibration of equipment.
– Recording site data for Project Managers.
– Sampling and checking of garden soils at construction sites.
– Management of stores and stock (samples, equipment etc).
– Liaison with testing laboratories; dispatch of samples.

Typically you will be working on domestic and commercial sites throughout Northern England.

Applicants must demonstrate a strong academic background. A UK Driving licence is essential for this position. Experience using CAD would be advantageous as would a valid CSCS card.
