Our client is a non-profit distributing company and the leading warranty and insurance provider and standard setter for UK house-building for new and newly converted homes. They reinvest all their surpluses in achieving their primary purpose: improving quality in house building to protect homeowners through cover provided by the their Buildmark policy.

An amazing development opportunity has now arisen for a Repair Performance Consultant to join their Claims team on a secondment/FTC basis.

As Repair Performance Consultant, you will support the Claims change programme to develop how they manage remedial contractors. This is an exciting and varied role to make your own and will include national travel to meet with RWCs and key stakeholders. The role will also include analysing information and shaping this into meaningful management information for both our client and the contractors.

You will need a can do attitude and an enquiring mind to enable you to contribute to the success of their homeowner outcomes through complex and varied network relationship management.

In order to be successful in this position, you will ideally be qualified to degree level and/or be a member of a relevant professional institution e.g. CIOB/RICS/CII/CILA. You will ideally have knowledge and understanding of Contract Management and also H&S and CDM. Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal negotiation and motivational skills are also essential and you should be IT literate and able to use a range of software programmes.

Due to the nature of this role a valid driving licence is essential.

While, to some extent, this role can be based from home applicants must be aware that due to interaction with others, attending project meetings and being out and about meeting contractors it will require a lot of time away from home during the secondment whether at head office in Milton Keynes or elsewhere in the country.
