Salary: £32,400 – £33,600 per year
HPCareers is now recruiting a professional Production Planner for our highly reputable global manufacturer. This role is now available due to our clients continued growth, driven by its innovation and world leading quality within production technology.
Working in the Logistics Dept., this is a crucial role in terms of ensuring the production have appropriate materials to service a JIT environment.
Responsibilities
• Planning for 3 fast moving production lines
• Formulating both short and long term production plans to ensure that targets are achieved.
• Liaising internally with production colleagues, sales
co-ordinators and the customer.
• Assisting with NPI (New Product Introduction) preparation, working with design teams through to production teams
• Attendance of morning production meetings and contribution as required
• Management of all related finished goods stocks policies
Essential
• Experience within production & material planning
• Excellent IT skills MR Office, excel
• MRP planning operations
• Ability to deliver a first class service to production teams
• Worked within engineering manufacturing
• Experience of NPI
• Knowledge of aluminum welding and fabrication
• Suppliers and customer liaison
• Project management skills
• Health & Safety experience
