Finance Analyst

Salary: £19.2 – £24 per hour

A interim Finance Analyst interim role has become available for a client based in Haslemere, Surrey. This position will reporting in to the Head of Finance supporting the team with both the annual budget, month-end reporting and some transformation project work.

Finance Analyst – About The Role

A newly created role to aid the finance team in producing the monthly management accounts together with the annual budget process on an interim basis, approximately 2-6 months.
This position will be working within a finance team (office based) to start ASAP and you will be joining the team through an extremely exciting time for this client.
Whilst you will be assisting and take a lead role in the monthly management accounts and budget process, this position will be required to be involved in the project elements ensuring that the finance system is used to it’s full potential. You will be introducing new processes and reports to ensure it compliments and ensures a good standard of financial control for this business.
The role will support the Head of Finance on the 5-year vision and plan for the business and will look at underpinning processes and reporting to meet the expectation of the vision.
This role unlike any other presently will be perfectly blended with the expectation of producing the management accounts but also getting involved in some project related work.

The successful Finance Analyst will have:

* Have the knowledge and experience to independently produce a set of management accounts

* You will have experience of planning and co-ordinating a budget on behalf of a previous employer

* Excel – intermediate / advanced level

* Experience of process improvement

* You will be available immediately to commence a brief interview process and then commence the assignment

* Candidates that are either qualified or qualified by experienced will be considered

* This position will be predominantly working on client site, but may offer some flexibly to work 1 day per week from home

* 09.00 am – 17:30

* Contract duration estimated between 2-6 months.
