Team Leader, Block Management

Salary: £54,000 – £66,000 per year

One Property Recruitment, are looking for a Team Leader for a local managing agent in Salisbury. Due to growth, my client is in a position to be growing their management team and are looking to bring in someone with a strong foundation within block management and who has had experience in leading teams. There will be a small portfolio that you will be overseeing due to being a key relationship for the client, however with time this will be re-allocated and your position will be purely leadership focused. The core duties of the position are as follows:

* Oversee a small portfolio locally

* Lead a team within the office on best practice as well as being a point of escalation

* Responsible for hiring and training within the block management department

* Key involvement in the growth and standards of the wider business

* Involved in wider scope project from employee retention to branding

* Driving change where needed to enhance service delivery

* Review of policies and procedures across the business

* Evaluate current systems being used, making changes accordingly to aid efficiencies

My client is looking for someone who understands the difference between managing and leading a team. Someone with exceptional knowledge around the current cladding reform and new fire safety bill will be a key part to this role: the due diligence of how the client have managed their stock over the years is a key factor to their reputation and they would like to continue this. I’m looking for someone with the following attributes:

* Strategic mindset and commercial thinker

* Natural leader

* 5+ years direct block management experience

* Experience within mobilising new sites desired

* AIRPM / MIRPM qualified
