Night Time Care Assistant

Salary: £26,000 per year

A great opportunity to work with a family run, very well established group of care homes that also provide domiciliary and live in care for its elderly and vulnerable patients – they are one of the largest care groups in the UK with over 3000 staff nationwide. They are well known for providing top quality care in the community and at the moment they are needing great staff more than ever.

They are recruiting for a Night Time Care Home Assistant for their Swanage home, you will be:-

* Providing elderly residents with emotional and functional care during the evening and night time

* Working night shifts – 2, 3, or 4 nights available – working 8pm till 8am

* Supporting care home nurses with looking after residents, helping with day to day duties including dressing and feeding the elderly residents as well as helping with medications

* Based from their care home in Swanage in Dorset

Qualifications/Experience/Requirements

* You would need to able to pass a DBS check – this will be fast tracked and free

* You need to have some sort of experience working in care either in the community or a care / nursing home setting

* You need to be passionate about helping people in your community to give them care, support, and guidance in this difficult times

* Having experience working nights would be an advantage but it’s not essential
