Registered Manager – Children with Learning Disabilities

My client is looking to recruit a Registered Manager for their Children’s home in the Isle of Sheppey, Kent.

The 4 bedded home provides specialist care for children up to the age of 18 that have learning disabilities and other complex needs.

As Registered Manager you will be responsible for the day to day running of the home and providing a safe and positive environment for the residents.

Your duties will include:
* Managing the home in an efficient manner within the available resources
* Responsibility for the arrangements of admissions of young people in line with policies and procedures
* Maintain the maximum level of individuality and independence of the residents
* Encourage, stimulate and participate in social activities for the benefit of the young people
* Taking appropriate action to ensure that there is sufficient staffing levels at all times

You must have your RMA or equivalent qualification to be considered for the role.

This is a full time, permanent vacancy and the salary is £36,000 – £39,600.
