The Company:
– The company is one of the leading distributors of industrial automation and control products in the UK.
– The company has worked with the likes of, providing equipment for the conveyors in their warehouses, Stanstead Airport, Pepsi, Coca Cola, among others.
– The company have experienced a large amount of growth over recent years, increasing their turn over from £3.5million to £8million in 5 years.
– The company currently employs approximately 30 employees, all of whom receive in depth product training and access to NVQ leadership and management courses if applicable.

The Role:

Field Sales Engineer – Electrical Control and Automation Products
– The role entails generating internal sales orders for range of electrical control and automation products to OEMs, Systems Integrators, End Users and Panel Builders (The majority of which being systems integrators and OEMs)
– Initially your time will be split 50/50 between the office and field as the new office grows and establishes itself. Once the location is fully functional you will be field based.
– You will be charged with a territory spanning a 50 mile radius of Banbury; i.e. Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Warwickshire, and Gloucestershire.
– The role is open as the company is expanding by opening a new office base in Oxfordshire and therefore a Field based sales representative is required.

– An ideal candidate will have a proven track record in control and automation sales with experience in account management.
– Current team are all from the industry, with the top performer coming from a drives background.
– The client will consider graduates with an appetite for sales and the correct technical knowledge.
– If you are a self motivated, team player with a high work ethic the role is very well suited to you.
– The client has expressed the two most important credentials for a candidate is their attitude and proven sales track record.
