Permanent Opportunity

£41,340 Per Annum – 4 on 4 off Shift (Days and Nights)

20 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

Mason James Appointments is currently supporting the recruitment of a Production/Maintenance Technician to join a reputable Large scale FMCG Production company on a permanent basis.

To carry out all aspects of the production system, ensuring all relevant Health & Safety and quality control procedures relating to the production process are adhered to. Conducting basic level routine maintenance and repair to ensure the effective operation of the production and intake systems in order to minimise downtime and deliver business objectives.

Key Duties

• Basic routine maintenance and repair to production equipment and machinery
• Supporting an effective PPM schedule
• Responding to breakdowns and production line interruptions
• Maintain industry hygiene standards – ensuring environments are safe and clean
• Conduct daily stock takes and completion of records and production sheets
• Drive forward continuous improvement

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum GCSE Level 4 or equivalent in Maths and English.
• Qualification/Apprenticeship in a relevant field preferred.
• Strong experience within a team-based manufacturing/production environment, working with strict safety and quality control procedures and KPI’s.
