Position: 3d Designer/POS Designer

Location: Berkshire

Design agency based in West Berkshire are currently looking for a new designer to join the team.

Good all-rounder with a strong 3D design background and development skills & a strong knowledge of the retail industry the position Is working on fixed POS projects

Passionate, self-motivated, creative individual with a strong ethos to deliver proactive, on time results

A high level of knowledge and understanding of the relevant manufacturing processes and materials in metal, wood, plastics & print

Knowledge & proficiency with Inventor would be essential with a knowledge of Adobe CS (Illustrator, Photoshop) & Showcase highly advantageous.

Ability to produce high quality, accurate, impactful visuals of concepts & new design work. (modelled in Inventor, with visuals produced in Autodesk Showcase)

Translation of 3D conceptual designs into working production drawings & technical drawing packs using Inventor.

Happy to liaise with manufacturers and suppliers to discuss best practices & manufacturing detail.

Able to produce detailed & accurate operation manuals for new unity.

High attention to detail & be able to work on several projects simultaneously & to prioritise effectively.

BSc/BA (Hons) in Product/Industrial Design or equivalent Design discipline.
