JOB DESCRIPTION 

• Implementing holistic, culturally sensitive, respectful, and non-judgmental care from a pre-determined care plan for patients with a wide range of care needs.
• Ensuring that the patient is the prime focus when making decisions about their care and wellbeing.
• Assisting patients with compassion when undertaking normal activities of daily living whilst ensuring that privacy, dignity, and human rights are respected.
• Using initiative when responding to changes in a patient’s condition within own sphere of practice.
• Recognising limitations and escalating concerns.
• Assisting in the delivery of patient care as directed by the Registered Nurse.
• Providing routine patient care duties following policies, protocols, and guidelines at own discretion.
• During your work as a care assistant, you will be expected to provide a high level of care to all patients in Care Home. This includes transporting and managing patients, cleaning and bathing them, feeding them, and observing them.
