Digital Marketing Executive

My client is looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to join their growing team, working across two businesses. This is a broad role leading various digital marketing functions within a dynamic department, with a focus upon websites, email marketing, Social Media, blogs and copy writing. You will have the opportunity to work on integrated marketing campaigns and gain valuable experience across multiple channels. You should be a confident person with excellent communication and organisational skills in order to support your line manager and colleagues. You will be required to interact with various departments, suppliers and clients, so you must be a confident communicator with a professional manner.

A background in online marketing is essential and knowledge of B2B marketing would be advantageous. Although you will receive in-house training, you must be able to demonstrate proficiency for administrative work and be super organised.

Key responsibilities:
• Taking the lead on email marketing campaigns
• Measuring, tracking and reporting on digital marketing campaigns
• SEO development and measurement
• PPC and other online advertising
• Measuring, tracking and reporting on website traffic
• Social Media – updating, managing profiles and developing relationships
• Writing, reviewing and posting blogs and analysing blog statistics
• Contributing to, and implementing marketing plans and strategies
• Supporting the marketing manager and other colleagues
• Competitor research and analysis, monitoring activity Profile

Person Profile
• At least 1 year’s online marketing experience
• Good understanding of Google Analytics and social media
• Knowledge of email marketing platforms; knowledge of ExactTarget would be an advantage.
• Strong copy writing skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organisation skills
• Able to show good attention to detail and be extremely organised
• Ability to act on own initiative and research and come up with new ideas
• Capability to manage multiple projects
