Fetter / Foundry Operative

Salary: £26,000 per year

My client is a well-established company based just off junction 28 of the M1, who supply high quality castings for Automotive, Engineering and pump manufacturers.

Due to an increase in business, they are looking for a Foundry Operative to work in their finishing dept. This will be a permanent role after completing a 3-month training period.

THE ROLE:

• Fettling and Grinding off castings using hand held grinders.
• Moving parts, stock and materials to stock locations using overhead cranes.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• would be beneficial, however full training will be given for the right candidate
• Experience in a heavy engineering workshop environment, foundry experience an advantage
• Experience of using overhead crane
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions

Salary:

£26,000per year rising to £26,000 per year after training

Working Hours:

Afternoon shift 1.00pm to 9pm Mon to Fri
